This position forms part of a three year project exploring the psychosocial adjustment of young people with Tourette Syndrome and developing support for them, particularly in secondary schools. The Post is funded by a grant from the National Lottery through Big Lottery Fund to Tourettes Action (TA). The person appointed will take responsibility for the day-to-day management the project, including obtaining research and ethics committee approvals, data collection and liaising with other staff on the research team (including another research associate) and with schools. The person appointed will report to and liaise closely with the main investigators: Dr Victoria Tischler, Professor Glazebrook, Dr Edward Sellman and Professors’ Jackson and Hollis. Job Title: Research Associate/Fellow Contract Status: This post is available immediately and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of three years. Salary: £24,273 - £35,616 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. Salary can progress to £38,951 per annum, subject to performance (£26,523 – maximum salary without PhD).
