Travel Bursaries

Travel Bursary Information

The British Neuropsychological Society (BNS) offers two travel bursaries of up to £200 to support attendance at the BNS meeting.

These bursaries are intended to help students and early-career researchers who may otherwise face financial barriers to attending the conference.

The bursary may be used to contribute towards travel costs and accommodation. If total costs exceed £200, applicants must indicate how the remaining costs will be covered (e.g., institutional funding, supervisor support, or personal funds).

Applications will be evaluated using a transparent scoring system. Priority will be given to applicants who:

Are current members of the BNS
Are presenting a talk or poster at the meeting
Have not previously received a BNS travel bursary
Demonstrate a clear financial need
Provide a clear explanation of how attending the meeting will support their research or career development

Applicants will be notified of the outcome after the review process is completed.
